Meet Peter Tahere, the Hoani Waititi Marae gardener working on our Puta Ora project at the rear of the marae. He’s so proud of his mahi with fresh lettuce for the staff. Food sovereignty is one of many 2023 projects the marae is committed to. Focused on widening our value to Whānau in the community. Peter is laying the groundwork to develop a community garden and including above ground garden boxes for our Kaumātua. Watch this space for more updates.
